What we keep and why

The enquiry form stores your name, company, email, selected service and project message in a private hosted database accessible to Darren Pannell. We use it to assess and respond to your request, based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and taking steps towards an engagement where applicable.

Storage and access

The website uses managed hosting and database services. Enquiries are reviewed through a protected owner inbox. We do not publish them or automatically subscribe you to marketing. A hashed network identifier is used to limit repeated submissions; the form does not store raw network addresses.

Booking a demonstration

Demonstration requests are sent through the enquiry form. If an appointment is arranged using Microsoft Bookings, Outlook or Teams, Microsoft handles appointment and meeting information under its own privacy statement. Only include information needed for the appointment.

Retention and your choices

We show enquiry records from the last 12 months in the owner inbox. Older enquiry records are deleted when a valid enquiry is processed or Darren opens the owner inbox. This is an activity-based cleanup, rather than a scheduled daily deletion. Separate records for an agreed client engagement may have a different retention arrangement. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing darren.pannell@precisemep.co.uk. You can also raise concerns with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Please keep your enquiry brief

Do not upload or include sensitive identity, tax, bank or third-party personal information. If project documents are needed, we will agree a suitable way to share them.

Optional visitor analytics

If you choose Allow analytics, we store a random browser identifier in a first-party cookie for up to 90 days and remember your choice in local browser storage. We record that identifier, the page path, visit time and referring website hostname. We do not record query strings, full referrer links, names or raw network addresses for analytics. Records are retained for 90 days, with cleanup when tracking or the private dashboard runs. The private dashboard shows browser estimates and page views. Different devices and cleared cookies may be counted separately.

You can decline or withdraw consent through Analytics preferences at the bottom of any page. Withdrawal stops future tracking and removes the browser identifier; it does not automatically delete previously recorded visits. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. Contact Darren for privacy requests. Owner sign-in and an owner exclusion cookie help keep Darren’s own browser visits out of the figures.

Essential functionality

Hosting security and owner sign-in may use essential session information. The form can submit without signing in. No advertising tracking is added.
